very cheap looking
Very cheap looking. I ordered this because i want our bedroom to have autumn-orange accents. in the photo this quilt looked perfect. i did not order because of the price but because the quilt appeared to be exactly what i wanted. i should have known by the price that it would not be. the colors are odd (the orange is actually more of a neon than an autumn), the fabric is cheap looking, and the 'quilting' is not around the design but more like in a type as if you were to buy quilted fabric at a fabric store (not to criticize fabric stores, but it just looks like a big piece of fabric rather than a quilt).

Attractive, functional
We use this quilt to cover our loveseat, since we have pets that shed. The quilt makes an attractive, washable cover. We use the sham on a plain cushion, and it makes the cushion attractive too. We are pleased with this purchase.
Exactly what I wanted!
This is a lovely quilt. I just purchased my first home and bought some mandarin-orange curtain panels from Amazon for my living room. They turned out to be too bright -- not the fall orange I was counting on. So I went online looking for an inexpensive quilt with the same orange for a guest room. I found this quilt and took a chance. It paid off! The price is right for this lovely quilt. Combined with the orange curtains and some yellow-gold accents, the room has an Indian, global flavor that I love. The quilt and curtains complement each other perfectly -- not too matchy-matchy, just enough implied similarity. I love it. The weight of the quilt is perfect for Houston, Texas, almost year-round. There were some excess white threads, and I plan to trim those. Because this won't see a lot of traffic, I doubt it would harm the quilt too much by trimming the loose ends. The quilt is reversible (although the shams really aren't, because they tie in the back), and the reverse print is a nice...
