Pretty but not perfect
This cotton jacquard bedspread (twin Ecru) is very pretty with a beautiful sweet medallion in the center, not very thick (not like matelasse thick), and is well constructed. However, after washing and drying it shrank significantly (at least 10 inches on the width) and I spent an hour to steam iron it to return to its original size as much as possible. After the ironing, the bedspread still lot 5-6 inches in width. The current width is about 75 inches and length is still fine to tug the pillow. Luckily the shortened width does not bother me too much. The bedspread doesn't come close to the floor but still cover the bottom part of the bed frame. I think even if there was no shrinkage, ironing is still required because it is just too wrinkled to look nice.
Giving it 4 stars is probably too generous given its shrinkage issue. However I just love the look of it on the bed -- it is indeed very beautiful. The picture of a folded bedspread on Amazon really does not do justice at...

Just what I had been looking for
I looked a long time for this bedspread. I have had similar ones in the past and when it was time to replace it, I looked everywhere trying to find it. When I saw this one, I knew it was just what I wanted. I would definitely purchase this again.
Pleasantly Surprised!
To be able to have finally found a bedspread that was long enough and wide enough to go from end to end and side to side to the floor made my day! After years of not even being able to find a 'true' bedspread (other than the old chenille type) and then finding one that actually covered the box springs was a find. The pattern was pretty but not overdone. The heft was enough to make this a neat and tidy spread. I would whole-heartedly recommend this to anyone.
