The Wakefield Quilt Set is a Colonial Williamsburg Foundation classic design. This striking Jacobean pattern is adapted from a late-18th-century block print. This technique is an ancient art and was very popular in Europe at that time. Wood blocks were hand carved, each representing a different color and design. Ornate flowers, leaves and scrolling vines give the Wakefield quilt its distinctive look. The quilt reverses to a stripe, as does the pillow.The quilt is luxury oversized with a 100% cotton cover and is 100% cotton filled. The quilt is prewashed and should be machine washed on gentle and then line dried.

Love this pattern, what a classic
To be perfectly honest, this is the second time I have purchased this spread. I bought my first one 6 years ago in a queen size, got a new king size bed recently so I was sad to see my old favorite go... and Yeah!! I found it. I know "how boring to have the same spread for that long" but why change a classic??
