French county quilt.
This quilt has just the colors I needed to finish my bedroom for the summer. It is 100% cotton which means that it will improve with laundering. I have other coltton quilts and the more I wash them the better and softer they are.
I have not washed this yet but expect this to be beautiful.
This quilt includes patches of burgundy, greens, dusty turquoise,and gold. The reverse is gold background with a small flowered print in the burgundy,and green.

Perfect!
I just received this quilt and opened the box to see how well I did this time. It looked nice enough in the tiny photo you know, the one you have to make your judgment from and take your chances. This time it was a home run. I could say the quilt looks just like the photo, and it does to the extent that the colors are well represented, but in 'person', the quilt has so much more substance. As you might imagine. And, all that substance just improves on the photo-limited impressions. What you get is a really beautiful quilt. Really nice! I'll finish the room with gold drapes but it's the quilt that is the star of the room. The final test will be how well it washes but because it is 100% cotton I expect it to improve and get softer from each wash until, years from now after I've become completely attached to it, and can't find anything near as perfect, it will still be perfect except that it will have worn out from use. Don't you just hate that? But for now it is new, and...
